How to Use Business Card Mockup - Video Tutorial Included
In today’s graphic design industries, mock-up is a very useful to represent any kinds of graphic element. There are many websites where you can find your desired mock-up for your product. Today I will show you how to use a business card mock-up for your business card. Remember that this technique will be applicable for any other mock-up. So let’s begin.
Step 01 : Download mock-up and open it adobe photoshop
At first, you have to download your mock-up from a renowned website. You may find 20 free and premium mock-up link from our website. Just click the following link.
Now, open the mock-up in photoshop, then it looks like below.
Step 02 : Open your business card design
Now, open your business card design, both front and back side in photoshop. It will look like below.
Step 03 : Select design and paste it to the mock-up
Now, you have to select all of your front design by pressing ctrl+A and copy with merged layers by pressing shift+ctrl+C. Now go to mock-up PSD file and you will see a layer with smart object sign. Just double click on the icon, it will take you to a .psb file. Now you have to paste the copied layer into the .psb file. If the copied layer doesn’t fit, then press ctrl+T and by holding shift key you need to drag your mouse to place the layer in the correct position.
After step 03 mock-up will look like below.
Step 04 : Repeat step 03 for backside of your business card
After completing step 03, you have to repeat the process explained in step 03 for the backside of the business card. After that, your mock-up is ready to present your business card.
So finally, the mock-up looks like the following preview.
