How To Create Shape In Illustrator And Import It Photoshop Very Easily
In modern days, every print designs are created as vector shapes. But why? Because vector is scalable and it doesn’t get pixelated. In photoshop, shapes can be created easily but many designers are fond of creating shapes in illustrator. Because it’s very easy to create vector shape in illustrator. Now the question is how can I import shapes from illustrator in photoshop? Don’t worry. Today I’m going to show you how you can create shape in illustrator and import it in photoshop very easily.
Step 01 : Open up illustrator and create new shape
At first, open your adobe illustrator software and create a new document by pressing Ctrl+N. The document size will be 2x2 in.
Then, select ellipse tool and draw a circle of 1x1 in.
Now select anchor point tool by pressing Shift+C and click to the marked points as shown in the following screenshot.
Then it looks like the following picture.
Now again select ellipse tool and this time you have to create two circle. One is 0.4x0.4 in and another is 0.25x0.25 in.
Now select all object by pressing Ctrl+A and press both the horizontal align center and the vertical align center in the align panel.
After that, you have to click the divide option in the pathfinder panel. Then all the objects are divided into separated object. Next you must ungroup the objects layer and delete the middle object as like as the following picture. After that you have to delete stroke and fill them with any color.
Now copy the whole object by pressing Ctrl+C.
Step 02 : Open photoshop and import the shape
Now you have to open your adobe photoshop software and create a new document by pressing Ctrl+N and the document size will be 500x500 px.
Then paste the copied object from the illustrator by pressing Ctrl+V. Here you will get a dialogue box and you must select the shape layer option.
Thus you can create a shape in the illustrator and also can import that shape into the photoshop.
